The homework for classes from May 25 to 29 is below. Next to each assignment is the recommended amount of time to complete it with proper quality.

Classes will not be held on May 25 in observance of Buddha’s Birthday. 🎉🇰🇷

If your team needs extra time to prepare, please come early to class or on an off-day. PEAI is open on Wednesdays from 1:00–10:00 PM and Saturdays from 10:00–5:00 PM. My classroom is unused then and you may also work in the basement.

We will play Kahoot in class to review the vocabulary for the summative test. If you’d like to play, please bring a device to class (e.g., laptop, tablet). This is optional.

  • Complete the Crossword Puzzle (p. 195) in Wordly Wise 3000, Book 6.

  • Study for the summative test.

PROJECT FAIR (40+ min.)

In the penultimate day before Project Fair, we will dry run through demos with your materials, finish trifolds, and prepare booths in B1.

  • Procure and prepare materials for your Project Fair booth. e.g., display elements, prizes (must be district-themed, no unwrapped food items)

PROJECT FAIR (50+ min.)

  • Prepare for Project Fair Day!

    • Trifold. Be prepared to discuss all the elements on your trifold to visitors.

      • Left flap: Illustrations, diagrams, photos of your survival skill

      • Center flap: Propaganda message that glorifies your district

      • Right flap: Correlation matrix heatmap, scatter plot charts, grouped bar chart

    • Survival Skill Demonstration. Memorize and rehearse the survival skill demonstration. Prepare materials and prizes (optional).

    • Booth. Procure display elements for your booth. Prizes must be district-themed and are optional.

    • District Attire. Reflect the spirit of your district with matching attire (optional).
