  4. Find one piece of evidence the writer uses. Is it a statistic, an anecdote, or an expert opinion? Why do you think they chose this type?

    • Emotional Places. A place you feel safe, where something changed, where you felt joy, anger, despair, hope, etc.

    • Memory Places. A place that no longer exists or you cannot visit anymore

    • Each location labeled with a specific name

    • For each location: 2–3 sentences explaining what happened there OR what it means to you OR why you keep returning to it
