#150, Fifth
These past few weeks fifth grade came to a close for most of you. Reactions to the end of grade five were mixed; some reported teary-eyed farewells while for others it was just another day. These milestones in our lives often pass by without any fanfare. Though these moments feel like they should be more meaningful, they come and go without a trace.
With the passing of fifth grade, comes your last year in elementary school, and your opportunity to be kings and queens of the school grounds. Think back to the end of fifth grade and yourself now. Consider what’s different—perhaps in your friendships, in how you see yourself, or in what feels important to you now. And remember, the biggest changes aren't always the ones you can see. Maybe you've made new friends or drifted from old ones. Maybe you've discovered something new about yourself, about what you like, what you're good at, or what kind of person you want to be.
