#191, Ideal

No one knows what the future will hold. Predicting the next few minutes is just as difficult as predicting 100 years from now. The world is a volatile, chaotic place by nature. Still, amidst that unknowable disorder, we can see ourselves, a constant in the inconstant future. Regardless of age, there exists a future, ideal version of ourselves. If you make the right decisions and if put the work in and if you get a few lucky breaks along the way, what will this best version of yourself be?

Start your story in the morning when you wake up. Consider the following questions,

  • What time is it when you wake up?

  • Where are you in the world exactly? What is your housing?

  • Is there anyone else with you? Who do you see each day?

  • What is your daily routine? What do you eat?

  • What do you look like? What types of clothes do you wear?

  • What time is it when you go to sleep?

…and whatever else adds up to the tell the story of you. Don’t answer the questions individually; weave them together into a coherent story about your future ideal self.
