#191, Ideal
No one knows what the future will hold. Predicting the next few minutes is just as difficult as predicting 100 years from now. The world is a volatile, chaotic place by nature. Still, amidst that unknowable disorder, we can see ourselves, a constant in the inconstant future. Regardless of age, there exists a future, ideal version of ourselves. If you make the right decisions and if put the work in and if you get a few lucky breaks along the way, what will this best version of yourself be?
Start your story in the morning when you wake up. Consider the following questions,
What time is it when you wake up?
Where are you in the world exactly? What is your housing?
Is there anyone else with you? Who do you see each day?
What is your daily routine? What do you eat?
What do you look like? What types of clothes do you wear?
What time is it when you go to sleep?
…and whatever else adds up to the tell the story of you. Don’t answer the questions individually; weave them together into a coherent story about your future ideal self.
