#187, 😭

One of the unique characteristics of PEAI is that classes stay together for a year. Not a school year with summer and winter breaks, but a full 365 days with the same peers and teacher. Working intimately with the same cohort breeds classroom culture. During each three hour block, values, beliefs, attitudes, and practices are gradually, collaboratively constructed and start to define each class. By December, though BM1, BM2, BT1, BT2, and BW1 are categorically 6th grade classes, each is uniquely its own and full of wonderful idiosyncrasies.

Ellio Ben // Respect tea // Our favorite brand of marker—board. // This is Marle. // Bears are an excellent form of transportation // "Middle school, not MODEL school" // trashcards // Just do it! Pick up the phone! Call Phil Grant. // Dab-Dab-He // best horse // what should I do // Cubly Wise // yikes dog // "Scienceee" // drawing contest // Just Monika // nah // PPPPPPPP Ponytail

After December 31, we will no longer be with one another physically. Some of you will continue on together across the street at the Middle School. For others, your journey at PEAI will soon conclude. Our collective culture and memories, however, extend beyond the walls of Room 8 and throughout time and space.
