A page from George Orwell's masterpiece, 1984

Every single English book is a very simply a different combination of the twenty-six letters of the alphabet.  Those twenty-six, placed in a particular order, can move and inspire us.

  • "I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference." -Robert Frost
  • "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet." -Shakespeare
  • "Every man's life ends the same way.  It is only the details of how we lived and how we died that distinguish one man from another." -Ernest Hemingway

This week, find a quote from a book you've read.  Copy the quote verbatim (word for word) and briefly explain its meaning.  Afterwards leave a question for your classmates related to the quote and answer one of theirs.  An example is posted in the comments.
