#85, Groups

Gabe gets reverse Lasik surgery so that he can wear glasses and feel more part of the nerd group he so strongly identifies with

All of us are simultaneously members of several groups.  Each you posting here is part of the PEAI group.  We have shared similar experiences in the classroom (the death or life of a baby) and hold some common beliefs (respect for our peers' thoughts).  At the same time, you are part of several other unrelated groups; It might be a sports team group, or a musical group, or a family group, a Harry Potter group, a Hatsune Miku group, a religious group, or a group of nerds like Gabe.

What groups do you most strongly identify with?  Describe any two groups you are a member of that define you.  Describe some of the practices, beliefs, and traditions of the group that unify it.

Optional: Look through other students' responses and find groups that you have in common.  Mention them with @ (e.g. @Gabe I also started wearing glasses to increase my nerd level!).
