For the past two weeks the Korean peninsula has been in the international spotlight.  North Korea's frequent and belligerent threats to South Korea, the U.S., and now Japan have the international community on edge.  War seems like a real possibility despite the fact that most South Korean citizens will tell you the opposite.  What's missing in this dialogue about the NK/SK conflict, is the voice of the North Korean citizens.

Do they want to go to war?  Do they know how worried the rest of the world is about them?  How do they feel about the leadership of Kim Jong Un?

In this journal entry we'll try to construct that voice.  Write a personal letter to a North Korean student (100 words or more).
