Read the final draft of your essay. Create a reading guide for your essay in your writing notebook with the following sections:
Title and Author
Authorβs Note: Tell the reader a bit more about the story you chose to tell. This will be put at the end of your essay in italics. Write 50+ words.
Fav Prose: Copy a sentence that uses a writing technique you are proud of (e.g., sensory detail, slow motion crisis, in media res, metaphor, etc.)
Reader Question: Write down one question you would like the reader to think about after reading your essay.
Reflection: You started writing this essay one month ago. Now, at the very end of the writing process, how do you feel about your work?
